OptiClean™ A
OptiClean™ A is a low pH (acidic) powdered cleaner combining select chelants and solubilizing agents to remove metal hydroxides, carbonates, sulfates, calcium phosphates and other similar scales. OptiClean™ A provides broad spectrum scale removal, and is ideal for situations where limited information is available on foulant make-up. Combining OptiClean™ A with an alkaline cleaner such as OptiClean™ B for particulate and organic removal provides a comprehensive cleaning. If a more aggressive low pH cleaner is needed, try OptiClean™ H.

OptiClean™ B
OptiClean™ B is an aggressive high pH (alkaline) powdered cleaner ideal for removing organic, biological, silt, particulate, and other acid insoluble foulants from thin-film composite, ultrafiltration, and microfiltration membranes. Combining select water activated chelants, solubilizing agents, and membrane safe oxidizers, OptiClean™ B provides outstanding cleaning capabilities. Ideal for membrane systems troubled by high organic and/or biological loading, OptiClean™ B is the most aggressive high pH cleaner in the OptiClean™ line, but remains the first choice for many applications. For a comparable liquid cleaner, try Lavasol™ 7.

OptiClean™ D is a low pH (acidic) powdered cleaner specifically formulated to remove iron and manganese. Also affective at removing other inorganic scales, OptiClean™ D is ideal for membrane systems with iron and/or manganese issues, and smaller quantities of other inorganic foulants. Compatible with MF/UF modules, as well as NF/RO elements, OptiClean™ D can provide enhanced cleaning of systems fouled by iron based coagulants from upstream processes.

Formulated to target organic, microbiological, particulate and other acid insoluble foulants, OptiClean™ F helps optimize membrane filtration module cleanings. Ideal for municipal reuse, surface water, and other high loading applications OptiClean™ F can also be used to improve CEB and CIP effectiveness. For a comparable liquid cleaner, try Lavasol™ 8.

OptiClean™ G
OptiClean™ G is a high pH (alkaline) powdered cleaner formulated to remove silt, colloids, organics, particulate, biological, and other acid insoluble foulants. Combining specially chosen chelants, surfactants, solubilizing and dispersing agents, OptiClean™ G provides excellent broad spectrum foulant removal. Ideal for periodic maintenance cleans, well water, and other light loading applications. Combining OptiClean™ G with an acid cleaner such as OptiClean™ A for inorganic removal provides a comprehensive cleaning. If a more aggressive cleaner is needed, try Lavasol 7 or OptiClean™ B.

OptiClean™ K
OptiClean™ S
OptiClean™ S is a low pH (acidic), low foaming powder cleaner formulated to remove silica and other inorganic scales present on MF/UF modules or NF/RO membranes. Silica is inherently difficult to remove, but OptiClean™ S targets and removes tough silica scale, while helping remove other inorganic scale present. For systems where predominate inorganic scale is not silica, it is best to use a broad spectrum low pH cleaner (Lavasol™ 1 or OptiClean™ A) prior to OptiClean™ S. Combining select water activated chelants, solubilizing agents, buffers, membrane safe oxidizers and enzymes, OptiClean™ N provides cleaning at milder pH conditions extending membrane life and is ideal for membrane systems troubled by high organic and/or biological loading.
