BioGuard™ Shock
BioGuard™ Shock is a fast-acting, non-oxidizing membrane-safe biocide for industrial applications. Effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria, BioGuard™ Shock can also be applied to control fungi and algae. This fast-acting biocide breaks down quickly, and as such does not present the same long term environmental impact as other biocides. Can be continually fed, or used as an intermittent shock Clean In Place (CIP). For the most effective results, use in combination with an alkaline cleaning regiment for the removal of killed microbiological material.
Benefits & Features
- Contains 20% active 2, 2-dibromo-3nitriloproprionamide (DBNPA)
- Provides broad-spectrum control of bacteria
- Fast-acting membrane compatible microbiocide
- Breaks down at neutral to high pH
- Neutralizes by sodium bisulfite
- Breaks down at high temperature
Uses
- Used online or as intermittent Clean In Place
- Control of bacterial, algae and fungi in membrane systems

BioGuard™ ISO
BioGuard™ ISO is a membrane safe non-oxidizing biocide for industrial applications. Capable of controlling bacteria, fungi, and algae BioGuardTM ISO is ideal for non-potable water systems plagued by high microbiological material accumulation within the membrane system. BioGuard™ ISO provides a slow kill (4-12 hours), and is most effective as a continuously-fed biocide. For the most effective results, use in combination with an alkaline cleaning regiment for the removal of killed microbiological material.
Benefits & Features
- Slow kill – 4 to 12 hours
- Controls bacteria, fungi and algae
- Broken down by excess sodium bisulfite, but not at typical RO conditions (<15ppm)
Uses
- Used online at 5-15 ppm
- Control of bacteria, algae and fungi in membrane systems
